"This increasingly unsung 20th century hero deserves a fresh look today in the 21st century as we ponder issues of leadership, character and trust — the oxygen of democracy — in our national institutions and the people we choose to lead them," said a 2025 article published by the center. "As America celebrates its 250th anniversary and our political system strains to balance partisanship with unity, it's the perfect time to revisit and explore what makes Marshall a model citizen and leader."
The center is located in Dodona Manor at 312 E. Market St. It was the home of Marshall and his wife, Katherine Marshall, from 1941 to 1959, the year George Marshall died at 78. Dodona is named after an ancient Greek sanctuary.
