Swing dancing is one of my absolute favorite things in the world. It's also one of the places I feel most comfortable challenging myself to do scary things--like learning how to lead or auditioning for a higher level workshop. This picture is from the first time I did both those things together: I put myself out there for the world (okay, the instructors) to judge by auditioning for a leveled class as a lead. 📸: Devon Rowland Photography

I didn't make it into the higher level class, but putting myself out there was the real success of the day. As a creative, it's waaaay easier to put stuff out in the world for other people than for yourself! It requires vulnerability, which is not my favorite feeling.

But today is , so I'm harnessing the courage that I have in dancing and taking the leap in my business! I've had a stack of post languishing in a folder, and today they're finally getting scheduled.

Summer is a great time for doing what you love! We're looking forward to sunshine and wineries with friends. Oh, and creating some stellar content for our clients!
