🍂🍁 Don’t miss it! Peak fall colors in Kansas City are here! 🍁🍂

Just filmed THIS WEEK—these fall colors are absolutely stunning! Grab your family, your camera, and head out to one of these six epic KC and surrounding spots while the foliage is still glowing. You won’t want to miss this!

1️⃣ Black Hoof Park, Lake Lenexa – Stroll along the trail by the nature playgrounds, and don’t miss the dam and spillway. The view is breathtaking, with unique geometric patterns, lily pads, and vibrant fall hues.
2️⃣ Rock Island Trail, Lee’s Summit and Kansas City – Park at Paragon Star Sports Complex, walk toward the Rock Island Trail and take the trail north a short walk to the Vale Tunnel, the longest tunnel in Missouri. The fall colors here are magical!
3️⃣ Unity Village, Carl Chinnery Nature Trail – Grab a coffee at Fillmore Café, walk across the parking lot to the Carl Chinnery Nature Trail. Follow the signs to the natural bridge. My kids love climbing under it. This is one of my favorite places to walk year-round. A perfect combo of family fun and gorgeous scenery.
4️⃣ Loose Lake at Loose Park in Kansas City – For a golden hour gem, stroll around Loose Park Pond, where you might catch a rainbow in the fountain surrounded by ducks, turtles, and gorgeous colors.
5️⃣ Parkville Nature Sanctuary – After grabbing a coffee at Rochester Brewing, stroll at English Landing Park or hike the peaceful Old Kate Trail at Parkville Nature Sanctuary. Squirrels, small waterfalls, and a leaf-crunching paradise!
6️⃣ Burr Oak Woods, Blue Springs – Hit the Bethany Falls Trail for amazing limestone rocks and some of the best fall foliage around. The nature center is a must-see, with a fun kids’ play area and stroller-friendly paths.
