What an incredible turnout for today's EAA Chapter 91 Flying Start event! ✈️

We had a full house for our Introduction to Flying presentations, with attendees ranging from curious future pilots taking their very first step into aviation, to experienced pilots who came out to share their passion and support the next generation.

The energy carried right out to the ramp, where discovery flights gave many participants their first hands-on experience in the air—an unforgettable moment and, for some, the beginning of a lifelong journey.

Events like this remind us how strong and welcoming the aviation community truly is. Whether you're dreaming about flying or already logging hours, there’s always a seat for you here.

It’s Flying Start Day at EAA Chapter 91! We’re thrilled to welcome a new group of aviation enthusiasts and share the excitement and joy of flying with them.

After a successful first Young Eagles event at LXT last weekend the EAA Chapter 91 team went to Columbia today to support their Young Eagles event at KCOU! It was a great day introducing young people to the joy of flight and inspiring the next generation of aviators. We never get tired of seeing those big grins at the end of the flights. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and passion to make it a success! 🛩️

🚁✨Thank you to our chapter member, Noel Duerksen, for sharing the story of his RotorWay Talon helicopter with us this month! Hearing about the build process, challenges, and excitement of flying such a unique aircraft was truly inspiring.

Even more impressive—his Talon took home the Grand Champion Rotorcraft Award at EAA AirVenture 2024! 🏆 What an incredible achievement!
