Happy Moose Monday! Today’s photo is of a moose calf in Rocky Mountain National Park that was just born a couple days prior in early June. This was on the west side of the park near Grand Lake. This baby was just across the Colorado river with mom. It is amazing how well the baby blends in with the burned trees from the East Troublesome fire in the Kawuneeche Valley.

As many of you know, we love moose and it was an experience the entire family (even my 4 year old) got to be in on, which is was what National Parks are all about. An amazing moment to share! I love the look of the baby. What a beautiful and innocent little creature. Let me know what you think in the comments!!
