Many government-funded organizations are expanding their grant-seeking to explore more foundation opportunities. However, writing for foundation funders requires a different strategy. This practical session is designed for those who are writing grants, whether or not “grant writer” is in their title. We’ll explore how to identify private and foundation funders and assess whether they are strong prospects for your organization. We’ll also break down how to translate existing government grant language or content narrative into a compelling foundation proposal—without starting from scratch. You’ll leave with new tools to find funding and maximize the work you’ve already done.
