Bluebird Birth
PCOS is now PMOS. what does this mean?
Staying in bed, especially laying on your back and planning an unmedicated birth is like taking a walk barefoot over a bunch of Legos ðŸ˜
Instead, changing positions every hour at a minimum (even changing sides if you are sleeping/resting) will help your labor progress and ideally prevent unnecessary interventions, especially in the hospital setting.
Always listen to your body and your baby. If something doesn't feel right or baby isn't tolerating well, change positions for an improvement.
Share this with your birth support team so they have ideas on positional changes in labor, and stick around for more tips 💛
