Yesterday, the 3 fire companies of South Lebanon Township turned the page and entered a new chapter. After more than 2 years of hard work, planning and countless meetings, Judge Kline approved the merger of the 3 companies.

Friendship, South Lebanon Fire Co #1 (previously Hebron and Avon) and Prescott fire companies, have united to form the South Lebanon Fire Department.

There were countless hours spent on this process by the merger steering committee, chaired by Billy Weikel, as well as all of the sub-committee chairs, members, township supervisors and township manager. Thank you to everyone who supported this, worked towards this and had a hand in this.

Excellent things lie ahead and we are all very excited to be a part of this new future.
