Happy July!

Somewhere along the way, summer became another season to perform.

Be the vacation girl.
Be the pool girl.
Be the healthy girl.
Be the productive girl.
Be the aesthetic girl.
Be the girl who somehow does it all with a smile.

And if you're anything like me, you start wondering if you're the only one who didn't get the memo.

But this year, I'm choosing something different. WE are choosing something different. Yep, it's officially NOT Girl Summer season.

Not because I don't want to grow. I absolutely do.

But because I'm tired of trying to become every version of myself that the world tells me I should be. I'd rather become more like the woman God created me to be.

So this month, I'm not chasing perfection.
I'm not comparing my life to someone else's highlight reel.
I'm not pretending I have it all together.
I'm not measuring my worth by my productivity.
I'm not hiding the messy parts because they don't fit the picture.

Instead, I'm opening my Bible.
I'm making room for grace.
I'm choosing presence over performance.
I'm letting God rewrite the labels I've been carrying.

That's what this month is about.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing stories, encouragement, and a brand-new Bible study called **Not Girls of the Bible**—a study about ordinary women who met an extraordinary God and discovered that He had something better to say about them than the labels they wore.

I think some of us have accidentally been discipled more by hustle culture than by Jesus.

One says:
Keep proving yourself.

The other says:
Abide.

One leaves us exhausted.

The other leaves us rooted.
