The first annual Red Diamond gathering will take place at the July Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival in Conway, M.O.

The master himself, Don Macrostie, will be driving in from Ohio to join the fun! He’s planning to bring several of the original vintage series instruments with him, and possibly bringing a Cox voiced after his personal Loar.

We are honored to be there with new Red Diamond mandolins available for purchase.

In addition to the instruments mentioned above we’re also expecting #214, , , , , , , , , and at least a couple of others that we don't have the exact serial numbers for.

We’ll plan to format similar to Loarfest with tables to lay the instruments on for viewing. This event will be reserved for Red Diamond owners with “guest” passes for the Loar signed instruments that inspired the Red Diamonds we all own and love.

Participants will need to purchase a Saturday ticket to the festival. If you haven’t been before. It’s a great festival with a shaded stage area and lots of jamming in the campground. Don't forget about the great food!

Lebanon and Marshfield are a short drive from the festival and have good hotel options if you’re coming in from a ways away. The festival also has nice RV sites and a bath house for tent campers.
