For the final Summer Sunday, we look back at Week 8 of 2025!

In search of treasure, our Pirate campers spent the week putting clues together, taking them all around camp, ultimately finding their pirate b***y! Family Camp participated in camp classics like a hike to Buzzards Rocks and a Youse Craft Cabin session and our Day Campers joined in on the fun with games in the field like the parachute and canoeing on the lake! Our Diacanos camp this week continued to share their time and gifts with local non-profits! And our Ultimate Sports campers learned the basics of different sports including soccer, then laced up their sneakers and cleats for the annual KirchenCup match! A camp classic with orange slices for rejuvenation at halftime! To finish off the week, we had our final game of CTF, KirchenDunk, Friday Night Picnic and Worship for the summer!

On Sunday, May 17 we held the annual Summer Camp Kick-Off Worship and Picnic. This year was a special one. In addition to a joyful worship and a delicious BBQ dinner, this event served to recognize Mike Youse for his years of ministry in the Lutheran Camping Corporation and included a dedication of the Craft Cabin to the Youse family. What a beautiful day!
