It's that season. People are coming and going.

Our prayer is that you will find God as your Keeper in whatever season you find yourself in. Maybe you’re in the middle of a move, or maybe you’re planning out a block leave. Perhaps you or your husband are deployed, living OCONUS, or feel like you’re constantly coming and going because your calendar has no white space.

To help you, we have new five-day devotional kicking off on YouVersion called, "In Every Coming and Going: The Lord Who Keeps Military Women." It starts later this month and focuses on Psalm 121.

If we can’t learn to be welcomed, we will never understand how to truly welcome others.

"When Jesus sent the seventy-two disciples out in Luke 10, He didn’t tell them to pack a trunk full of supplies or to set up elaborate homes. He told them to receive. To walk into towns as newcomers, receive kindness from strangers, and receive the offered food and lodging with gratitude.

Why? Because humility is the soil where hospitality grows.

When we look to be deeply rooted in military life, we cannot overlook the importance of cultivating the ground by practicing hospitality. Sometimes as the host and sometimes as the guest."
