Welcome to the Pride, Lauren! Lauren Simpson will be our new Assistant Blue Belle coach. "I'm beyond excited to join the Lion family this year and call LHS home! I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Dance Education, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a community as strong and supportive as Leander!"

Welcome to the Pride, Koren! Koren Lee will be our new Library Assistant. "I have a BA in Art from Auburn University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Montevallo, and spent years teaching High School Visual Arts in Alabama before moving into Texas education. I now teach pottery classes on the side, but books have always been my real passion — I stay deeply immersed in the Texas book community through author events, festivals, and more. After substituting across LISD libraries, I’m thrilled to bring that love of reading to LHS as the new Library Assistant! Go lions!"

Welcome to the Pride, Allyson! Allyson Felty will be a Special Education Inclusion Teacher. "I am thrilled to be joining Leander High School as a Special Education teacher this year! As a proud graduate of Leander ISD, it is especially meaningful to return to the district that helped shape me, now as an educator. I am excited to build relationships with students, support their growth, and give back to the community that played such an important role in my own education!"

Welcome to the Pride, Jake! Jake Clark will be teaching math and coaching basketball and football. "I was an accountant for a year before I realized I wanted to pursue a career in basketball. Following my passion led me to being a basketball coach, and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m excited to be at Leander High with this amazing staff!"
