5th District officers and dispatched at approximately 1:54 p.m., to the intersection of Mullinix Mill Road and Damascus Road for the report of a collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist.

An adult male has been transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The striking vehicle remained on scene.
