Fred Larsen just added another chapter to a lifetime of unforgettable swings.

The Valley View starter recorded his 5th career hole-in-one, dropping an 8-iron from 175 yards on No. 7—but this one stood above the rest. Surrounded by seven friends, every one of them saw it disappear.

That kind of shared moment is hard to top!

Larsen’s ace history already reads like a course tour across Northern Utah—Eaglewood, The Ridge, and multiple at Valley View—but this one carried something extra. Just three holes earlier, another player in the group nearly matched him, lipping out on No. 4.

Buying drinks after aces is what we like to see at Valley View, Larsen’s story is a reminder of why we play.

The golf shop will be open Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for gift card purchases - the perfect stocking stuffer for your friends or for yourself! Saturday is the only day the shop will be open before Christmas.

This Thanksgiving, Valley View extends heartfelt appreciation to all our golfers for your loyalty and enthusiasm throughout the 2025 season. The moments you share on our fairways are what make this course such a special place. We’re grateful for the friendships and memories created here, and we look forward to many more next season. The golf course, range and practice area will close for the year on December 1st for a parking lot remodel. The golf shop will be open to sell gift cards and merchandise on Saturdays in December from 9am-3pm (parking lot construction permitted).
