Did you know that giving children choices can dramatically reduce power struggles?

Instead of telling children exactly what to do, offer two acceptable options.

Examples:
✅ "Would you like the blue cup or the red cup?"
✅ "Do you want to brush your teeth before or after pajamas?"
✅ "Would you like to hop or walk to the car?"

Children feel empowered, and parents often experience fewer battles.
