Anybody been to this camp on the wasatch front in Davis county?
These cows and calves walked right in front of us. Of course I was slow to pull out the camera. But the calves were still nursing. Does anyone know the how long after nursing before the cow will go into heat? I'm thinking 28 to 30 days before they cycle. So the rut in the high country is still a month away.

We had a great day on the mountain. 6 cameras set up over 18 miles traveled. This 67 year old grandpa dominated the mountain.

Less than 100 days to the archery elk opening day in Utah. I will touch the snow on the wasatch front every sunday until it is gone. This group came with me last Sunday.
