This Wednesday is Recovery Wednesday, hope to see you there!

You can grow figs at home in a pot or in the ground! Come learn the basics of home fig production in this two hour session. We’ll learn about varietal selection, making potting mix, fertilization, winter protection and how to construct sub irrigated planters. Fig trees will be for sale &20-25. The class is free but donations are welcome. You must rsvp to [email protected] to reserve a spot. Parking at the orchard during events is reserved for folks with mobility challenges. Otherwise park on Delaware st. Lawrence Community Orchard is located at 830 Garfield St. in East Lawrence.

Join us at 10 for Storytime hosted by Lawrence Public Library, followed by an hour of Open Play!

Thank you Westlake Ace Hardware Lawrence 6th & Kasold for partnering with The Salvation Army this summer. We are happy to say that beginning July 8th we will be passing out box fans to those in need until we run out.
