Tacos? Tuesdayed. 💪
Except we didn’t actually make tacos ... Instead, at this week's edition of the Clover Camp Adventure Series, our young chefs learned all about juicing, slicing, measuring, mixing, rolling, and baking in the pursuit of guacamole and empanadas! A quick and easy snack and a tasty meal has been added to their repertoire just in time to help out in the kitchen over the summer.
Thanks again to the Extension Master Food Volunteers for their amazing guidance, the 4-H ambassadors for keeping an eye on things, and – of course – to our wonderful participants!

If you drop an egg on the ground, does it explode into a gloopy mess? What could it do *instead* of exploding? That’s what these kids set out to discover at this week’s day camp – Wild About Science. Following the seven steps of the scientific method, these young researchers became top technicians in terms of egg protection, covered the basics of programming with some swanky mice, and even tackled the minimum surface problem (using bubbles, of course.) Turns out eggs can survive being dropped from a great height – they just need a suitable craft. Just like future scientists just a need a opportunity to be introduced to the magic of science! ✨
Thank you once again to our 4-H ambassadors for being the best helpers you could ask for! And thank you to everyone who participated in the camp - we hope you all keeps exploring the wonderful world of science all summer long!
