Cans for the Community

Last week Cans for the Community donated $1,000 to Harvesters, a nonprofit organization that mobilizes the power of our community to create equitable access to nutritious food and addresses the root causes and impact of hunger.

Only a few hours remaining to drop your cans off at a Can House today!!! Remember, all proceeds benefit USD 497 intermediate and high schools. We are close but need your help to complete the challenge!! We CAN do this with your help!!

The Undergraduate Business Council Committee at the University of Kansas has chosen to be a donation site for Cans for the Community for the month of April. The site is located at Capital Federal Hall, the KU business school. The interest in sustainability lead them to Cans for the Community. Thank you to Lydia Daniel and the team. The timing is perfect as we work towards our annual April 5,000 pound Can Challenge.
