In observance of America’s 250th birthday, the Kansas Bar Association (KBA) is giving away commemorative copies of the U.S. Constitution, hosting a drive-through America 250 birthday celebration on Wednesday, July 1 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. No need to leave your car, simply drive through the KBA auxiliary parking lot located at 1257 SW Harrison St, Topeka and pick up a commemorative, pocket-sized copy of the U.S. Constitution.

As part of our nation's founding, the KBA will also recognize its longstanding support for Kansas' merit selection system for appointing Kansas Supreme Court justices. This milestone is an opportunity to celebrate the vital role of an impartial judiciary. This event is hosted by Kansas Free Legal Answers, an online legal clinic co-hosted by the American Bar Association and supported by a grant from the Kansas Bar Foundation.
