Do you agree that most conflict is rooted in lack of understanding and poor communication?

I have provided individual and marriage therapy for thousands of individuals from around the world. Also, I have facilitated hundreds of leadership development and team-building trainings over the course of the past twenty years and have found that people desire corrective behavioral action, but fail to seek understanding and exhibit poor communication skills.

It is impossible to correct or modify behavior that you do not understand. Equally, it is impossible to understand behavior without communication.

Please keep in mind that the pathway to corrective behavioral action is facilitated by developing understanding and communicating effectively.
