Strawberry picking update Wednesday May 22 11:45am

Huge turnout this morning. While there is still fruit in the field. It is definitely a hunt. Filling baskets quickly is not obtainable. It takes searching around through various rows.

With the high temperatures in full sunshine, we do expect to see more berries ripen by the hour, but if cars keep coming in at this pace, they’ll most likely be picking them as they ripen.

Just a fair warning because of the heat and this is a desired activity for kids. Picking today is more for professionals that enjoy being in the heat and taking the time.

Should the status change or should we get picked out? We will definitely update immediately. That potential does exist for today.
