On March 5th, 2026, (12-9) Center Line Prep Academy Bears went against (17-3) Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac Lions in the MHSAA Regional Finals at Clawson High School. ATAP defeated Center Line Prep 103-51 Final.

For the Lions, they scored a season-high 103 points against Center Line Prep Academy. ATAP Lions Guard Lewis Lovejoy had 42 points & 3 assists, Lions Forward De'Vontae Grandison had 21 points, 4 assists, & a block, Lions Guard Aiden Reeves had 20 points & 5 assists, and Lions Guards Sherrod Magee & Jaiden Price had 5 points or more against the Bears.

For the Bears, their 9 game winning streak came to an end and they lost by 52 points against Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac. CLPA Bears Forward Brian Cox led the team in scoring with 15 points, Bears Guard Herbert Hogan had 9 points, Bears PG Jehmel Madison had 6 points & 5 assists, and Bears Guard Jayden Owens had 7 points & 2 assists against the Lions.

In the MHSAA Quarterfinals, Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac Lions will face Harbor Beach Pirates at St. Clair County Community College.

On March 3rd, 2026, (21-5) Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice Warriors went against (18-7) Detroit Cass Tech Technicians in the MHSAA Regional 6 Semifinals at Renaissance High School. Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice defeated Detroit Cass Tech 87-56 Final.

For the Warriors, they are averaging 71 points per game in the playoffs. Brother Rice Warriors Guard Greg Grays Jr. had 22 points including 16 points in the first half, Warriors PG Jordan McDaniel had 12 points & 2 assists, Warriors Forward Ivan Stojacovski had 18 points & 4 assists, Warriors Warriors SG Adam Tribul had 14 points including 4 three-pointers, and Warriors Guard Jacob Lamb had 4 points and 4 assists against the Technicians.

For the Technicians, this is the first time Cass Tech had a loss by double digits this season. Detroit Cass Tech Technicians Guard Ransom Thomas led his team in scoring with 17 points, Technicians Guard Stevie Hall had 12 points, Technicians Guard Sebastian Thrower had 7 points & 2 assists, and Technicians Guard Amari Wash had 5 points against the Warriors.

In the MHSAA Regional Finals, Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice Warriors defeated Warren Fitzgerald Spartans 59-29 Final. In the MHSAA Quarterfinals, they will face Wayne Memorial Zebras at University of Detroit Mercy.

On February 27th, 2026, (11-9) Detroit Renaissance Phoenix went against (18-6) Warren Fitzgerald Spartans in the MHSAA District 23 Finals at Hamtramck High School Community Center. Warren Fitzgerald defeated Detroit Renaissance 56-44 Final.

For the Spartans, it has been a long time since they have won in the District Finals. They defeated Detroit Renaissance Phoenix after losing to them in their last two meetings in the playoffs. Warren Fitzgerald Spartans Center Keandre Burtin had 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Spartans Guard Quenten Graham had 10 points & three assists, Spartans Guards Marcellus Phelps, Joe Jones and Miaen Shipp each had 5 points or more and played great defense against the Phoenix.

For the Phoenix, they have yet to win in the District Finals in over 15 years. Detroit Renaissance Phoenix Guard Jayden Miller had 15 points & 3 assists, Phoenix Guard Jeremiah Davis had 12 points, and Phoenix Guards Kingston Hunt & Anthony Sledge each had 5 points against the Spartans.

In the MHSAA Regional Semifinals, Warren Fitzgerald Spartans will face Farmington Falcons at Renaissance High School.
