BREAKING: San Joaquin County Sheriff Pat Withrow Gives Update on Stockton Mass Gang Shooting

In a video address to the public, Sheriff Withrow has announced that he expects arrests to be made in a couple of months. Withrow states that his office is currently transferring electronic evidence such as camera footage and cell phone records, to written reports. Those reports will then be turned over to District Attorney Ron Freitas who will review the evidence and make a determination to charge. Once that happens, Withrow says that’s “when handcuffs will start being put on.” The implication is that the suspects are already known and identified.

Withrow emphasized he expects this to occur in the next couple of months and that the investigation is going according to plan.

The mass gang shooting occurred at a child’s birthday party and injured 17-18 people, with four fatalities including 3 children as young as 8.
