The story of Hanukkah is one of miraculous provision and rededication. A single day's worth of oil burned for eight days, keeping the light of the Menorah alive in the newly cleansed Temple. This miracle foreshadowed a greater Light that was coming, a Light that no darkness could ever extinguish.

Centuries later, Yeshua stood in the Temple right before this festival and declared,
"I am the light of the world" -John 8:12

He is the fulfillment of that miraculous flame—the eternal light and our provider who came to rededicate our hearts to God.
