Kristian was one of the lucky few who picked up a Desert Bighorn tag. In many cases, a sheep hunt is over on opening day. That is not the case for this hunt. The team would spend nearly a week searching for a mature ram that met the requirements. When they finally located this old ram, it was unanimously decided that he fit the bill. Kristian was able to make a good shot and bring this old ram down. Congratulations to you, young man. You earned this one!

This father-son team was fortunate enough to draw two rifle elk tags in New Mexico. Despite some unusually warm weather both hunters were successful.
