She Talks Money

I am excited to announce that I will be partnering with Bethany Village Las Cruces to teach their new financial empowerment workshop series! I am seeking local businesses to donate small gift cards, gas cards, gift items, etc. to add to my weekly rewards program called Money Wins. Each week the participants will be tasked with small challenges such as tracking spending, opening various accounts or completing pages from their workbooks. I'd like to reward them for their work & devotion to the program through some mini raffle prizes. If you'd like to donate, please reach out to me via call or text at 575-644-2014. Bethany Village is an incredible housing program for local single mothers. It enables them to go to school, work or both while providing a safe and supportive living space for them & their children to thrive. Part of their curriculum is financial literacy so they are best equipped upon departure to live a fulfilled and financially free life!

It’s surreal. But then you remember that you lived it. You wrote it. You shared it. Writing your story isn’t just scary, it’s cathartic. It’s pieces of yourself- your childhood, your adolescence, your young adulthood- in ink. Forever imprinted on paper. You can’t hide from your former self because she’s there, looking up at you in pure awe. Because you did it. You broke the generational barrier. You surpassed who you thought you’d be. You became the version of yourself that you dreamed of.
It may sound silly but allow yourself the moment to realize that You’re It. Are you where you want to be? No. But are you closer? Yes. The 10yo version of you is not only proud, she’s impressed. You’re everything she never dreamed of being. You allowed yourself to be vulnerable enough to be authentic, true, and daring. You shared the s**t and it became the magic. And you owned it all.
My book shares glimpses of my life I tried to forget, I tried to hide, but ultimately I had to showcase. Because my experiences are not meant limit me. They’re meant to show you what you can overcome.
Shake your shame. Drop your disappointment. And realize that you can create everything you can imagine.
