Can I Grieve

People know that I lost my mother.

What most people don’t know is what happened after.

The pressure to stay strong.
The years I spent in survival mode.
The parts of myself I lost along the way.
The moments I questioned whether I would ever feel like myself again.
The slow process of rebuilding a life I never expected to live without her.

I’ve shared pieces of my story, but I’ve never shared the whole journey.

Until now.

Over the next few weeks, I’m opening that door little by little.

There is so much more to this story than what people saw on the outside.
