The deadline was extended till Friday, November 20th, 2020 at 5 pm, This will allow the student more time to finish their projects and presentation and be ready for the submission.
The annual Fall Student Conference will take place virtually on the week of November 16th, 2020 and it is open to all TAMIU students
On behalf of the Colloquium and Conference Committee, I would like to invites you to participate in our Annual Fall Student conference. This year, our conference will be virtual, therefore all the presentations will be recorded by the students themselves, for example, students can add their voice narrative to the presentation’s Microsoft PowerPoint file and upload it to the submission website mentioned below.
The presentation should be of 15 minutes (maximum) and I will be judged based on the following criteria:
Problem Methodology:
• Was the overall approach appropriate for the problem formulation?
Familiarity with Subject:
• Does the presenter(s) demonstrate adequate knowledge of the subject?
Organization:
• Is the presentation cohesive and have a logical organization?
Communication Skills:
• Does the presenter(s) voice and poise make a favorable impression without reading a script?
• Does the presenter(s) have a smooth and clear delivery?
Presentation Quality & Visual Aids:
• Was the presentation supported with simple, clear, and appropriate visual aids and text?
Results:
• Has the presenter shown the results clearly and in detail?
• Did the presenter interpret and explain the results appropriately?
Conclusion:
• Did the conclusion provide a reflection and discuss further implementation?

The deadline to submit an abstract/presentation is Monday, November 16th, 2020 at 5:00 pm.
Both individual and team presentations are welcome.
