La Gorra Azul Ranch

Not many people in South Texas are still harvesting Buffel grass seed — but around here, it’s part of ranch life.

The conditions have been perfect this year, so George has been on the tractor 10 hours a day harvesting seed before the rain and wind knock it to the ground. Once it falls, we can’t pick it.

It’s hard, dusty, dirty work… but we truly love doing it. 🌾🚜
