If you missed our latest CLE, you missed something special. 👀
Will Clark of The Injury Law Guides took the Laredo Bar Association Members inside the largest truck crash injury verdict in Webb County history. He walked us through exactly how it was won.
This wasn't theory. It was the actual playbook:
-Five moves for cross-examining a retained defense expert
-Direct-evidence damages anchoring under Gregory v. Chohan
-"empathy, not sympathy"
-"Show, don't tell"
These techniques work whichever side you're on and whatever you practice: civil, criminal, family, probate.
Huge thanks to Will Clark for an indispensable session. A few shots from the room below. 📸

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s Laredo Bar Association CLE on the Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions!
It was a fantastic session with our speaker, Laredo Criminal Defense Attorney Roberto Balli, who shared valuable insights drawn from his 30 years of experience as both a prosecutor and defense lawyer right here in Webb County. Great seeing so many familiar faces and connecting with colleagues across our legal community.
As a reminder, our general bar meetings will continue on the first Thursday of every month, with built-in CLE credit at each one.
We’re grateful for your support and look forward to growing an even stronger Laredo Bar together. See you at the next meeting!
