Excellent post
Imagine you're playing a game, and you have two options: to focus on things you can control or worry about things you can't control. Which one do you think will make you feel stronger and more in charge?
When you focus on what you can control, like your own actions, decisions, and efforts, it's like having a superpower. You can choose to do things that make a difference in your life. For example, if you have a test coming up, you can study hard and be prepared. By doing that, you increase your chances of doing well.
On the other hand, there are things that you simply can't control. Like the weather, other people's actions, or what will happen in the future. It's like trying to control the wind or make someone else do what you want. It's frustrating and often impossible.
So, when you let go of things you can't control, it's like putting down a heavy backpack that's dragging you down. Instead of wasting your energy and getting upset about things you can't change, you can use that energy to focus on things you can control and make a positive impact in your own life.
Remember, focusing on what you can control gives you power and makes you feel strong. Letting go of what you can't control helps you feel lighter and more at peace. So, it's important to ask yourself: "Can I control this?" If the answer is no, it's better to let go and focus on what you can control.
Exercise: Make a list of things in your life that are stressing you out and categorize them into ‘I can control’ and ‘I cannot control’. Reflect on whether you have been trying to change things that are out of your control and how that has affected you.

Merriam Webster defines peace as, “a state of tranquility or quiet: freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions: and/or harmony in personal relations” and while these are perfect definitions, peace looks different for and to everyone.
For me, peace has come in many forms throughout my life. At times it’s took the form of music and helped me escape or navigate all the chaos in my life. Other times it’s been fuel to be authentically myself and provided me with purpose. Understanding my purpose helped me set my priorities and helped me to step away from careers as they offered me promotions to keep me and financial rewards that some would die to have. To me, the money and prestige were not everything. Peace was and is not always quiet. Sometimes I’ve seen injustices and felt compelled to speak up and out about it and my life became significantly difficult because of it. But, peace is sometimes scary. It’s knowing yourself well enough to know what is right to you and acting on that feeling because to do nothing would create greater conflict within yourself. And that, is the opposite of peace.
I could go on and on about peace…..but peace ultimately LED me to create a safe space through my company, LED Life Coaching to walk with others on their journey and help them find their peace.
I want to help someone who this resonates with find their peace. If that is you or you know someone who could benefit from finding their peace or purpose, text or call me now. Love & Empathy are waiting on the other side.

Why does a person seem to see a specific car they purchase more frequently after they purchases that make and model?
Let me explain to you what psychologists call the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon; or simply put what’s known as the frequency illusion. It has been found that once a person purchases a new car and it's under their possession, their brain adjusts, adding the particular model to its list of things to notice. And then it starts to seem as if they are seeing this item more frequently but they may not be.
Focusing on something we’ve added to our list of things to notice is a naturally occurring thing we don’t have to think much about. However, the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon can be used in a positive way to attract happiness, peace and prosperity. You see, when we start to add positive stuff to our list of things to notice we start to see more positive things.
If you’d like some help creating a list of positivity or you’d like to have an accountability partner or a safe space to talk about the aforementioned and how it applies to you, we are here for you. Reach out now and let’s get you focused!
