Today, January 31 (Korean time), marks the beginning of 설날 (Seollal) which is the celebration of the Lunar New Year. This year Seollal falls on February 1st, and the celebration lasts typically 3-days, the day before and the day after. During this time, families gather together by returning to their hometowns to pay respects to their ancestors, eat traditional food, play games, and children bow to their elders and receive small gifts of money.

Hoy, 31 de Enero (hora coreana), marca el comienzo de 설날 (Seollal), que es la celebración del Nuevo año lunar. Este año Seollal cae el 1 de febrero y la celebración dura típicamente 3 días, el día anterior y el día siguiente. Durante este tiempo, las familias se reúnen regresando a sus pueblos para presentar sus respetos a sus antepasados, comen comida tradicional, juegan y los niños presentan su respeto ante sus mayores y reciben pequeños obsequios de dinero.
