Weird Like Me

Well long time, no post!!! So much has happened since the last time I posted. The most significant thing is that I bought a house. Nobody told me that I’d be busy doing home projects for the first two years lol. Needless to say, I haven’t done much sewing in the last couple of years. I miss it and I am ready to get back to it. I’ve decided the best way to do that is by taking on three sewing challenges in 2024. All three challenges are intertwined. The first challenge is to make one thing a week for the entire year. Second challenge is to sew my stash. Everything I make must have at least one thing out of my stash of fabric and supplies in it. I’m hoping this will cut down on the hoarder amount of fabric and supplies that I have 😳. The third part of my 2024 sewing challenge is that I will not be purchasing any gifts for anybody. Everyone that I normally buy for, will receive a homemade gift for me this year. I am excited to get started and get my “sew-jo” back!! Stay tuned to travel this journey with me through my successes and my failures in this upcoming year. Glad to be back 🥰

I am beyond happy with this awesome art I received in the mail!! Here’s the story....So my son Josh brought me a little piece of art that he got out of a Vending machine in Las Vegas. I loved it so much that I followed her on Instagram and I saw all of her amazing happy little monsters that she creates and I wanted one LOL. I contacted her and for a very reasonable price she created a piece of art that is unique to me ( as you can tell). I think she totally nailed my vibe!
