Allen Farmers Market
07/06/2026
The Fresh Grinds is back at the Allen Farmers Market for ONE day only this Wednesday, July 8, while Peculiar Coffee takes this Market off..... Fresh Grinds was a regularly scheduled vendor in the 2023 - 2024 Fall/Winter Season, offering hot brewed coffee, iced coffee, and bags of locally roasted, fresh coffee beans.
The Fresh Grinds is owned and operated by Trever, who previously worked as a barista while he was in college and then in IT. He’s a coffee fan first and foremost, and you can taste it in his wide range of roasts. He roasts right out of the commercial kitchens at ANC and learned about the farmers market because of that.
Trever chooses the farms he sources from, and the beans are all fair trade and grown in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Brazil. “My mission is simple: to bring you the highest quality, ethically sourced coffee beans, roasted to perfection," Trever says. "From light to dark roast, we have a blend to suit every palate.” His favorite product to sell is his midnight mocha because he especially likes its darker roast. He hopes more people will try his cherry cheesecake roast because, although you might think it's sweet, the flavoring is subtle and it “doesn’t punch you in the face.”
The Fresh Grinds can also be found in select Mid-Michigan Meijer stores and at Midwest Ace Hardware, making it easier than ever to enjoy locally roasted coffee.

We all know how unpredictable Michigan weather can be; that's part of the reason why we never close! Our farmers and food vendors show up for you, rain or shine, to sell you fresh, local foods.
Plus, whenever there is rain (or heat 🥵), we have seating inside along with our indoor vendors! With AC and shelter, our market is safe to visit no matter what the weather holds. Also, the rain is something to celebrate, as it helps farmers grow fresh produce while reducing the need for irrigation!
So grab your umbrella (if needed) and join us this Wednesday from 3:00pm - 6:30pm to meet our amazing vendors and shop local 😍

Thank you to all that braved the rain and came out to our Strawberry Festival last week! The strawberry cheer outshone the rain and we loved celebrating the season with you! It's incredible how eating locally gets you in tune with the beauty of the seasons and how quickly they change. And strawberry season is not over yet! Stop by Hillcrest Farms or Toy Box Farms booth for your final chance at taking strawberries home. As the seasons are always changing, so are our vendors! This week is Toy Box Farms last Market and then next week we will be welcoming Titus Farms and Khoua's Veggies to our summer season!
The Panhandlers will start their Caribbean, Light Jazz, Pop Music set right at 3pm, so whether it's rainy or sunny, it's going to be beach vibes at the Market.
