Tuesday Toolmen
Happy Friday! Our Tuesday Toolmen volunteer crew has been building accessibility ramps all summer, including for our neighbor, Elizabeth. Before her ramp, Elizabeth relied on her grandson to assist her down the front stairs of her home to run errands and make appointments. In partnership with the Clinton-Gratiot Habitat for Humanity, the Tuesday Toolmen erected a ramp for Elizabeth to maneuver all on her own easily. It warms our hearts to watch her independently exit her home for the first time effortlessly, and we're grateful to our hard-working Toolmen for another job well done!

Thank you to the Lansing State Journal for highlighting to last week's ramp build! When the Tuesday Toolmen show up at someone's home in the morning, the resident might be confined to their space, unable to enter or exit their home freely. By the end of the day, that person has a smile and maybe some tears, because they can live their life the way they want, with dignity and fewer struggles, after our volunteer group's help.
How the volunteer group Tuesday Toolmen can change someone’s life in one day The Tuesday Toolmen are a dedicated volunteer group that, rain or shine, works every Tuesday to improve lives in mid-Michigan.

Our Tuesday Toolmen volunteers braved the cold this week to build a ramp for Kathy from Lansing, so when she arrives home from her surgery, she’ll be able to enter her front door all on her own. Read all about it thanks to WLNS Nate Salazar who covered the story.

Our Tuesday Toolmen were on the job last week to construct an accessibility ramp for a Lansing senior. Her neighbors were amazed that the volunteers completed this ramp in less than a day! The crew is out today to build another ramp for another deserving neighbor. Check back later to see the results!

Yesterday, our Tuesday Toolmen crew was in St. Johns to build an accessibility ramp in partnership with the Clinton-Gratiot Habitat for Humanity. This ramp will benefit a deserving neighbor and their son, who they rely on as their caregiver. Thank you to Redeemer Church: DeWitt - St Johns for preparing and delivering lunch to our volunteers!
