SEIU Michigan has made the decision to rescind our endorsement of Amir Makled. Our full statement is below.

I’m incredibly proud to have the support of SEIU Michigan in my campaign for Michigan Attorney General. Representing more than 66,000 working people across our state, SEIU is on the frontlines fighting every day for dignity, fairness, and opportunity.

As someone who comes from a working-class family, this support means a great deal to me. As your next Attorney General, I’ll stand shoulder to shoulder with SEIU workers, because when labor is strong, Michigan is stronger.

Grateful to have SEIU as part of the powerful coalition of labor organizations backing our vision for a fairer, more equitable future for every Michigander. I look forward to working together.
