For this calm doula-inspired palette, I wanted the colors to feel soft, warm, and supportive without making the website feel too busy.

Sometimes using less is what makes everything feel more cohesive and professional.

I like to think of each color as having its own little job. One for your main background, one for contrast, one for buttons, one for softer accent sections, and so on.

That way your website still feels branded, but not overwhelming.
And of course, we have to keep accessibility in mind too. Some color combinations look really pretty together, but they don’t always have enough contrast for text or buttons.

So yes, your colors should feel beautiful and aligned with your brand, but they also need to be easy to read and easy to use.

That’s where the magic is.

Something new is coming…

It’s that time of year when it’s time to get your business ready for the next year. Which is precisely what I’m actively working on. My website is currently down because I’m revamping to launch my new design offerings in 2026!

This year was my first official full year in my website design business. Fun fact for those of you who don’t know, I spent 8 years doing only photography —portraits, product, and food. All the while I have always had this love for design. While I will always have a love for photography and will still do it from time to time (especially for fun). This year has shown me even more that design is my path. I’ve even developed a love for AI… I know, I know crazy coming from a photographer at heart, but I do feel like it’s an amazing resource and if you aren’t getting with it, you are going to fall behind.

My words for 2026 are Growth, Longevity, Peace, Resource. Everything I do in 2026 is going to be about this, not just personally but for every business and entrepreneur I come into contact with.

I want to help others GROW, have LONGEVITY and PEACE in their business. I also want to be a RESOURCE for them.
