Fancy seeing you here!
At the end of June, MDARD's International Marketing Program had 11 companies in the Michigan Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show.
One of those companies was Papa's Brittle, a family owned and operated company based out of Kalamazoo. Their brittle started from a 64-year-old family recipe and tradition, and they have grown since 2021 to build a legacy of quality and smooth flavor.
"I don't know what I would have done and would not have even been here if it was not for MDARD," said Doreen Gardner, founder of Papa's Brittle. "They have been one of the best resources or the best resource for me as I have grown in this business."
We'd love to be a resource for your business, too! For more information on MDARD's International Marketing Program and the services we offer, visit https://bit.ly/4fcQjvp

The Michigan Craft Beverage Council recently attended the Midwest Craft Distillers Local Grain Sourcing event at Granor Farm in Three Oaks to promote the production of craft spirits with locally sourced ingredients.
When craft distillers invest in Michigan-grown ingredients, Michigan invests in them. Producers who use more than 40% Michigan-grown ingredients in their spirits qualify for reduced markup costs.
