I had the honor of standing alongside local arts leaders at our State Capitol to celebrate Governor and Senator signing a historic arts bill into law.

This represents more than legislation , it’s a commitment to the belief that creativity, culture, and community are essential to our state’s growth and well-being.

I’m deeply grateful to Governor Whitmer, Senator Anthony, and all the advocates who continue to champion the arts as a vital part of Michigan’s identity and future. Their leadership helps ensure that organizations like and countless others, can keep creating spaces where young people and artists thrive.
