On Earth Day weekend, Earth Uprising Lansing planted trees in Crego Park. It was quite rainy that day, but we made the most out of it and it was a great experience nonetheless!
Thank you to all the chapter members and volunteers who came and helped out. Kayla was unfortunately unable to get pictures of everyone due to the rain, but appreciates all of you!
Thank you to the Lansing Park department for helping set us up with a representative from the forestry department. This representative helped a lot with the planning of this event and she even showed up to guide us! (Thank you, Irene!)
Also thank you to the Clinton County Conservational District for letting us snag your extra trees even though the city coordinator was late to pre-order them. We had such a great experience working with you!
And lastly, thank you to our donators! We raised a lot of money, and we ended up not using up as much as we initially expected. The extra funds will be set aside for our future events and causes.
