This weekend, we wrapped up a project over 2.5 years in the making with Trinity Health Livingston. The health system built a brand new 4-story 56-bed tower connected to the existing Brighton Medical Office Building with the intent of moving services from the Howell Location to the new tower in Brighton. This weekend, Trinity moved into their new spaces, and transferred patients yesterday for the official opening!

Kramer Management Group was brought on as Owner's Representative to assist with equipment procurement for the new tower. Managing existing inventory with the purchase of new equipment across multiple departments as well as coordinating that with the timeline of the construction project itself is no small task. There are meetings, inventories, research, price analysis, coordinating deliveries, building integration, managing the budget, etc. It is always a fantastic experience to come alongside a partner and become an extension of their team, meeting so many new people and being there as a known point of contact for any questions or needs. Your needs and concerns are always forefront in our minds and processes.

With 3 new OR's, 2 CT's, MRI's, imaging, ICU, and MedSurg patient areas, we have no doubt this will be a great asset to the Brighton community. Special thanks to incredible partners Trinity Health, Enterprise Logistics + Solutions, Granger Construction Company, and Health Care Relocations.

Construction advances on Health Sciences Research Building as steel arrives 04/08/2026

"Almost 1,600 tons of steel has now been delivered to the construction site of Wayne State University's $200 million, 160,000 sq ft Health Sciences Research Building..."

That special moment when the steel begins to go up on a project is when everything takes another turn towards completion and the physical building really starts to take shape! The building that will serve as a biomedical research hub includes a 180 foot long pedestrian bridge to connect to Wayne State's Scott Hall.

It has been an honor to serve as Owner's Representation to Wayne State and work with project team partners HKS Architects, The Christman Company and Osborn Engineering. They have brought so much to the table and we are proud to work with them on this one!

Construction advances on Health Sciences Research Building as steel arrives Wayne State’s Health Sciences Research Building reaches a major milestone as nearly 1,600 tons of steel arrive and construction begins to rise.
