We’re excited to announce that Hannah Leggert has been promoted to controller! Hannah joined PSC in 2019 as an accounting and payroll specialist and has worked her way up through the ranks, most recently serving as our senior accountant. Her hard work, expertise, and dedication to the firm have made this promotion so well deserved. We are lucky to have her and can't wait to see everything she accomplishes in this new role. Congratulations, Hannah!

Help us welcome Dan Lord to the team as PSC’s new director of environment and natural resources and Great Lakes Fishery Trust manager! Dan comes to PSC after a long career at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, most recently serving as the division chief for the Finance and Operations Division.

At PSC he’ll use his policy, planning and strategic budgeting expertise to work alongside our clients and partners to develop actionable, evidence-based policy solutions for Michigan’s environment, infrastructure and natural resources. He begins his role at the end of June, and we’re looking forward to the continued impact his work will have on communities across the state.

Last night we welcomed clients and friends to our Detroit office for the first time! It was great catching up, comparing notes on what’s ahead at the Mackinac Policy Conference, and sipping on Pink Pony cocktails. While we’ve had a presence in Detroit for a long time, having an office there allows us to better serve our clients and be part of the important work happening there.

We're looking for an organized, dependable person to join our administrative team. If you’re someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and likes being the one people can count on this role is for you. PSCers work with Michigan’s state and local leaders helping them make smarter decisions about public policy through research and analysis. It's meaningful work, and we need great people to help keep things running behind the scenes.
