I’m honored to be in the booth narrating The Green Funeral by Sequola Dawson — a thoughtful, deeply resonant exploration of how we can honor our loved ones while honoring the earth.

This book invites us to reimagine the rituals of death with intention, beauty, and environmental reverence. It blends spirituality, practicality, and ecological awareness in a way that feels both grounding and visionary.

As I bring Dr. Dawson’s words to life, I’m reminded that storytelling — in all its forms — has the power to shift culture, spark healing, and inspire new possibilities for how we care for one another and the planet.

So I got a scholarship to attend the StoryBoard Festival for writers hosted by , and met some amazing new souls there including the amazing funny story, I studied text from her award winning The Secret Lives of Church Ladies for a creative writing class I took in the spring, and one of the stories in her book is titled, ‘Eula’, which coincidently is the name of my daughter!
