White Knuckle Ride

Hey everyone, this is Joe with WKR. I am making a post I actually didn't think I would be making for a couple/few years, but here we are. We have decided not to continue on as a band. Well, it isn't a decision we all mutually made, but it is a decision we all mutually are affected by, and need to abide by. It is tough, because we worked so hard to come so far over the last year and a half to bring you our product, and finally get gigs on the schedule, and have it come to this. Then, in the end some wanted to finish all the gigs we had on the books, some wanted to finish less, and ultimately we decided not to play any more gigs as a band together. It is very hard to be in a band with 6 individuals when you all have a slightly different idea of which direction the band should go in, and what kind of songs should be learned/played etc. Being in a band is just like being in a relationship, but with 5 other people, it most certainly isn't easy. We would like to thank all the people that made the gigs we did have, because playing in front of, and entertaining people is what it is really all about. Some people in the band plan on not playing anymore, or maybe taking a break, and some plan on continuing on, and maybe finding a band, or reforming with WKR members that are still interested in that. All the guys in the band definitely come together, and thank everyone for joining us on the ride that was White Knuckle Ride!! Keep supporting local live music 🤘

We had an amazing time at Sherman's Lounge last night !! The staff was great, an amazing crowd, and the food there was something special. We are already excited about our return on May 2nd, and look forward to many more. Thank you again for having us, and thanks to all the patrons !!

White Knuckle Ride is booking, and we have gigs to announce!!! I will create events for them tomorrow. We have 2 shows coming returning to The Mulliken Roadhouse on March 22nd, and May 24th. These shows are both 9 pm-1 am showtime. We are really excited to get a couple shows in Flint for people that way that have been requesting that we play in the area. We have 2 shows at Sherman's Lounge!! It will be our first time in Flint, so come out and support us January 17th and May 2nd, both 9pm-1am showtime! We are super excited to be rocking both of these great venues, and will see you all soon.

We had an absolute BLAST at Nico's Friday night!!! The place was packed all night long, standing room only. I was expecting it to be a slow Friday night, and couldn't have been more wrong. The crowd was very responsive, and welcoming. The staff was also incredible, and welcoming. We look forward to returning to Dimondale, rocking, and hanging out with you all again!!! All the guys in WKR say thank you.

We had an amazing time at the Fireman's Memorial Benefit last Saturday!! It was for a great cause. The food was great, the people were all awesome, and the sound man/company did a great job making all the bands sound their best. Thanks to all that came out, donated, and shared in the festivities.
