CALL TO ACTION
NEEDED ASAP basic food items for family who lost their food stamps and were told the day they lost them. We need NON-PERISHABLES so they have food to last for a while since we don't know when they'll get their stamps back.
BRING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY TO THE STUDIO. MESSAGE US IF YOU NEED TO DROP OFF OUTSIDE OF CLASS TIMES
What to give:
Canned goods (soups, veggies, fruit, tuna, chicken, tomato sauce, peanut butter, jelly)
Dried goods (rice, pasta, beans, oatmeal, dried milk or creamer, jerky)
Root vegetables (familiar stuff - so carrots, sweet potatoes) (but not a lot of fresh stuff)
Fruit: Apples (because they can last), raisins (familiar things, and no berries)
Juice
Coffee, Cocoa (because, brrr)
Sugar, flour
Crackers, cereal
Some laundry detergent and toothpaste would be good too.
