Mt. Hope STEAM School

Ms. Siti represented Mt. Hope well at last week's school board meeting. Each month, different schools present a visual learning board to the community and school board members. After a classroom visit earlier this year, Dr. Smith asked Ms. Siti to share the lesson on to 7th graders on Chemical Reactions. Students were engaged in the lesson and excited to work in pairs as they explored chemical reactions. Ms. Siti presented student examples her feedback to students and exit tickets confirming their new knowledge. Way to go, Ms. Siti 🥳

Students proudly recited their pledge, committing to their future education goals and taking an important step toward college and career readiness. The Lansing Promise continues to inspire and empower students by showing them that higher education is possible and within reach.
