Living vicariously through other people doesn’t make it easy. You just don’t see the moments of despair, the pangs of hunger or their hands up to the sky while screaming “why?” Those moments are not shared, not passed on to you and not taken out on you. Please be grateful where you are because switching places may mean that you have to fill a void so dark and deep that you may never recover because you didn’t do the work.
