Teach a Man to Fish requires skilled scuba divers to execute our projects. An important part of our work is training local people. Director of Operations Christian Lemouche is a certified Dive Instructor, and he is always building team capacity through scuba training.
Some of his students are ready to proceed with PADI certification, and we are looking for sponsors. For US$100 you can help one of these divers achieve their goal of certification.

A MILESTONE FOR TEACH A MAN TO FISH!
Yesterday was an important milestone for TAMTF. The floating hatchery platform was successfully launched from the Ostional beach. It’s now in position over its mooring. It took a team to move it down the beach and into the shallow water, using the wheeled carts devised for moving the SubCrafts and heavy artificial reefs, and then it was towed into place. This platform has two very clever windmills designed by Poseidon that will be used to generate power, pump sea water to circulate through the hatchery tanks and to aerate that water for months or even years to come.
